How to use the SMPK?

The SMPK has been built precisely for you as a journalisten or blogger new to the SMPK. The tool itself should be quite self explanatory, however here are a few tips and info bits to get you started.

Quick Links
This is a simple way to quickly jump to the specific area's of interest. Be it photo material or quotes, just press on the word you are interested in and you'll be anchored exactly to that section.

Recent Press Releases
If you are able to see the 'Recent Press Releases' block this means there are more press releases within the SMPK or with the Archive. Just click on a press release of interest and you'll see the release in full together with photo material, video's, quotes and press release related information. Just click on the logo at top left side of the page and you'll be back on the homepage.

RSS Feeds & Social Bookmarking
If you would like to be automatically updated on new press releases from a specific SMPK then you can subscribe to the RSS feeds. You'll recieve automatic updated in your mailbox.

Social Bookmarking
It's possible to bookmark press release within the SMPK. If you have an account with Delicious, Facebook, Digg, Furl, Technorati, Stumble Upon or Reddit you'll be able to get started straightaway. If not we suggest you open a free account with Delicious to get you started. Everytime you visit a site which you want to remember you can add it to your social bookmarking account. Wherever you are in the world, your bookmarks go with you as you only need to remember your username and password. Easy!

Photo Presentation
The photo presentation gives a glance at any image material associated with the press release. The images within the photo presentation are low resolution and purely for browsing. You may be able to use them for online purposes, however you will find a high resolution version with the 'More Info' section of the site. These can also be downloaded and used within you press article. If you are writing an article of piece, please ensure you inform the contact persons within the contact block of the SMPK.

Video Gallery
The video's within the gallery cannot be downloaded without permission from the SMPK owner. However some video platform films, such as YouTube films maybe public, in which case you can of course use these.

About... (otherwise known as Boilerplate statement)
The about section gives you information about the company and product related to the SMPK

Quotes
Pretty obvious :-) but you are free to use the quotes as written in the SMPK
If there is anything we have missed, please let us know and we'll get this added to you ASAP

Tags
Sometimes it possible to add your own tags to the SMPK, however this is at the discretion of the SMPK owner. If you click on a tag it should take you to all related press releases with the tag word in it. So it will take you to the relevant press release you are interested in.
